Elon Musk has revealed that public appearances have become nearly impossible for him following the assassination of Charlie Kirk on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. Speaking candidly, Musk stated, "There are serious security issues. It's not that I don't want to. I simply can't."  

He further emphasized the gravity of the situation, noting, "[Charlie's assassination] has reinforced the severity of the situation, where life is on hardcore mode. You make one mistake, you're dead. It only takes one mistake."  

Musk explained that the combination of security threats and overwhelming crowds at public events has forced him to significantly limit his public engagements, including routine activities such as shopping. The assassination has intensified his personal security measures, highlighting the growing risks faced by prominent public figures in an increasingly volatile environment.  

The comments underscore not only Musk’s personal challenges but also the broader concerns about safety for high-profile conservatives and public influencers in today’s climate, where even casual appearances can carry serious risks.
