Two high-rise window cleaners in Tysons, Virginia, narrowly escaped disaster after the basket supporting their cleaning platform unexpectedly collapsed, leaving them dangling roughly 15 floors above the ground. The dramatic incident occurred on Thursday, 4 December, at a 22-story building, prompting a swift emergency response from the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department.

According to officials, the workers were left suspended in midair for nearly an hour, secured only by their harnesses while the shattered basket remained partially attached to the building facade.
