Two new humanitarian aid and food distribution centers are nearing completion in the southern Gaza Strip, according to officials overseeing the project.

The initiative comes under the directive of political leadership, with direct support from the U.S. administration and the American Foundation. Once operational, the facilities will serve as replacements for the Tel al-Sultan center, which has been the primary hub for distributing essential supplies.

The new centers are expected to expand the capacity for food aid, medical assistance, and essential services to civilians in need, amid worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza.

Local and international organizations have welcomed the development, calling it a vital step in ensuring continuous aid delivery to thousands of families affected by the conflict.
