Israeli television aired a remarkable exclusive as Channel 12 broadcast the first-ever televised interview with an Iranian Mossad agent who took part in a covert sabotage operation deep inside Iran. The agent, identified only by the alias “Arash,” is an Iranian citizen who worked with Israeli intelligence to disable a ballistic missile launcher during the June 2025 Twelve-Day War between Israel and Iran.

In the interview, Arash described in calm but vivid detail how he was tasked with neutralizing a missile system capable of being used against Israeli cities. Operating at night, he infiltrated the target area and assembled a specialized disruption device designed to render the launcher inoperable. The operation unfolded under extreme pressure, with Arash recounting how he waited nearly two hours for final authorization from Mossad headquarters while vehicles approached the area, threatening to expose the mission.

Once the go-ahead was given, Arash launched the device, successfully sabotaging the launcher and preventing its potential use against Israel. According to his account, the action was carried out without detection and achieved its objective precisely as planned. The operation formed part of a broader Israeli campaign during the Twelve-Day War, which included airstrikes on Iranian military infrastructure and efforts to degrade Iran’s missile and drone capabilities.

The interview offers a rare glimpse into the human side of Israel’s intelligence operations, highlighting both the technical sophistication and personal risk involved. Arash emphasized the stakes of the mission, noting that failure could have resulted not only in his capture or death, but also in direct harm to Israeli civilians had the missile system remained operational.

Channel 12’s broadcast has drawn significant attention across Israel and beyond, underscoring the reach of Mossad operations and the internal opposition within Iran to the regime’s military ambitions. For supporters of Israel, the interview stands as powerful evidence of the country’s ability to defend itself through precision, intelligence superiority, and cooperation with individuals willing to act against hostile regimes from within.
