Two construction workers were injured Sunday in a worksite accident on Long Island.

According to officials, the incident happened in Oceanside, Nassau County, where a scaffolding structure reportedly gave way. Chopper 2 captured aerial footage showing emergency crews on-site, responding quickly to secure the area and treat the injured.

Authorities confirmed that both workers suffered non-life-threatening injuries. They were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Investigators are now working to determine the cause of the collapse and whether safety violations played a role in the accident. The construction site remains closed pending inspection.
