The video appears to show Iranian vessels guiding commercial ships through the narrow waterway while maintaining a visible military presence in one of the world's most important energy transit routes. Reports tied to the footage claim the patrols operate around the clock and that vessels failing to comply with instructions may be intercepted by Iranian forces.
