A former staffer from the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), nicknamed "Big Balls", was badly injured while intervening in a carjacking attempt in Washington, D.C., according to Elon Musk on X. The staffer reportedly tried to help a woman under assault, but was attacked by a gang of teenagers.

In response, President Donald Trump condemned the city's leadership and issued a strong warning:

"Either they're going to straighten their act out in terms of government... Or we're going to have to federalize and run it the way it's supposed to be run."

Trump emphasized restoring law and order, hinting at potential federal intervention if D.C. authorities fail to curb violent crime.
