IDF 401st Brigade Crushes 1,200 Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon Victory!
Troops from the IDF’s 401st Brigade have successfully completed their eight-month mission in southern Lebanon. The soldiers conducted defensive operations along the border and carried out targeted actions inside the security zone to neutralize threats against Israel. During the deployment, the brigade dismantled more than 1,200 Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites. These included extensive underground routes stretching hundreds of meters that were destroyed with specialized support. The operation marked a major effort to degrade the terrorist group’s capabilities near Israeli communities.
In addition to destroying infrastructure, the brigade located more than 600 weapons caches during its time in the area. Forces also eliminated more than 60 Hezbollah terrorists who posed direct dangers to Israeli troops and civilians. The mission focused on preventing Hezbollah from rebuilding its operational presence close to the border. Commanders emphasized that protecting Israeli civilians remained the clear and constant objective throughout the eight months of intense activity. The results demonstrate the brigade’s effectiveness in both defensive and proactive operations.
The completion of the mission represents a significant achievement in Israel’s ongoing campaign to secure its northern frontier. By systematically removing tunnels, weapons, and fighters, the 401st Brigade has reduced Hezbollah’s ability to launch attacks from southern Lebanon. The troops operated under challenging conditions while maintaining focus on their core goal of pushing back the terrorist threat. Officials noted that the work helps create safer conditions for residents in northern Israel who have long faced rocket and infiltration risks. This sustained effort underscores the IDF’s determination to confront and dismantle Hezbollah’s military infrastructure.
As the 401st Brigade concludes its deployment, the broader campaign against Hezbollah continues with other units maintaining pressure on the terrorist organization. The scale of the destruction—over 1,200 sites and dozens of operatives removed—highlights the intensity and precision of the Israeli operation. The mission’s success provides a measure of relief and strengthened security along a critical border. Israel remains committed to ensuring that Hezbollah cannot easily reestablish the same level of threat in the area.
