Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong warning to Qatar and other nations that provide sanctuary to terrorists, declaring that Israel will take direct action if those governments fail to act.

Speaking in English, Netanyahu drew comparisons between the September 11 attacks in the United States and the October 7 massacre in Israel, emphasizing that both nations share the pain of terrorism.

“Tomorrow is September 11th. We remember September 11th. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime on American soil since the founding of the United States. We also have September 11th. We remember October 7th. On that day, Islamist terrorists committed the worst crime against the Jewish people since the Holocaust,” Netanyahu said.

The Prime Minister justified Israel’s recent operation in Qatar, claiming it targeted planners of the October 7 massacre who were given sanctuary and support by the Qatari government. He likened the move to America’s pursuit of al-Qaeda following 9/11, including the mission that killed Osama bin Laden.

“Countries of the world are condemning Israel. They should be ashamed of themselves,” Netanyahu added. “What did they do after America killed Osama bin Laden? Did they condemn America? No. They applauded. They should applaud Israel for standing by those principles and implementing them.”

Netanyahu’s final words were direct:
“To Qatar and all the countries that provide shelter to terrorists, either deport them or bring them to justice. Because if you don’t, we will.”
