WASHINGTON — FBI Director Kash Patel is touting the Trump administration’s recent success in cracking down on crime in the nation’s capital, citing a sweeping law enforcement effort that resulted in 550 arrests in just one week.

Patel said the operation targeted violent criminals, leading to the recovery of dozens of firearms and 40 drug seizures.
