Body cam footage released by the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office shows Deputy Richardson bravely pulling an alligator out of a residential pool — using nothing but his bare hands.

In the clip, a nearby resident quips, “You clearly grew up around here,” as the deputy carries the gator away. Another adds, “Florida grown at its best.”

It’s just another day in Florida — where even the law enforcement officers know how to handle the wild side.
