The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced that they carried out a series of nighttime raids in southern Syria, detaining several suspects believed to be linked to terrorist activities targeting Israeli troops.

According to military sources, the operations were conducted by Division 210 in coordination with Unit 504 field investigators. During the raids, soldiers also uncovered combat gear in the targeted areas, further indicating militant preparations.

The IDF has stepped up cross-border security operations in recent months, citing an increase in threats along the Syrian frontier. Officials said the detainees are currently under interrogation, and intelligence gathered from the raids is expected to shed light on ongoing militant activity in the region.

Israel has repeatedly stated that it will act decisively to neutralize threats near its northern border, particularly in areas where hostile groups have attempted to gain a foothold.
