Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kan.) has accused Democrats of spreading misinformation in response to President Donald Trump’s move to place Washington, D.C.’s police force under federal control.

Speaking on The Evening Edit on FOX News, Marshall called the decision a necessary step to ensure safety in the nation’s capital and criticized Democratic leaders for what he described as political spin.

“This is just another example of Dem lies,” Marshall said, defending the policy shift as a way to strengthen law enforcement coordination and protect residents, workers, and visitors.
