Car Crashes Through Barn Roof After Garden Plunge in Germany; Several Injured Including Child

BOHMTE, GERMANY — In a bizarre and alarming accident, a car ended up crashing through the roof of a barn after careening through a garden and striking a child in the German town of Bohmte.

Local authorities reported that the vehicle first hit a parked car, then veered off the road, smashing through a hedge and plunging nearly five feet into a garden, where it struck a young boy who had been playing on a trampoline.

Due to the uneven terrain, the car was launched into the air and subsequently collided with the roof of a neighboring barn, causing structural damage and injuring several individuals involved.

Emergency services rushed to the scene, treating multiple people for injuries, including the child, whose condition has not yet been officially confirmed. The driver’s identity and the cause of the crash have not been disclosed, but an investigation is underway.
