An animated 3D map has been released illustrating the location of major U.S. military bases across the Middle East, including key positions near Iran. Produced by AFP, the videographic reconstruction provides a detailed visualization of strategic installations, highlighting the scope and placement of American forces in the region.  

The animation uses topographic data provided by AW3D from the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), ensuring accurate geographic representation and spatial relationships between bases, borders, and terrain features. By combining satellite imagery with 3D modeling, the visualization allows viewers to understand the strategic positioning of U.S. military assets and their proximity to potential hotspots, including Iranian territory.
