Two Iowa National Guard members were killed in a deadly ambush by ISIS near Palmyra, Syria, during a counterterrorism operation, officials confirmed. The fallen service members have been identified as 29-year-old Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard and 25-year-old Sgt. Edgar Brian Torres Tovar.
