In a heart-stopping moment caught on camera in Ulan-Ude, Russia, a man miraculously survived after falling underneath a moving tram.

Video footage shows the passenger stepping into a narrow gap beside the tram carriage and suddenly disappearing beneath it. Bystanders quickly rushed to his aid, pulling him to safety within seconds.

Officials later confirmed the man was “extremely lucky,” explaining he had fallen in exactly the right place — a small gap between the tram’s low-hanging parts — which prevented him from being crushed.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene before transferring him to local police for further questioning. Authorities are now reviewing the incident and urging commuters to exercise caution around trams and rail crossings.
