Palestinian media reported that at least 20 people, including four journalists, were killed in a tank strike on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis. The hospital, one of the largest medical facilities in southern Gaza, has been a focal point for both treatment and shelter amid the ongoing war.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed it is investigating the incident, saying the strike may have been aimed at Hamas equipment located on the hospital’s roof. In its statement, the IDF expressed regret for civilian casualties but emphasized that Hamas often uses civilian infrastructure as cover for its operations.
