The Israel Defense Forces confirmed that an airstrike in southern Lebanon’s Nabatiyeh region eliminated two Hezbollah operatives, including senior commander Muhammad Ali Hadid of the elite Radwan Force. The precision strike, conducted late Tuesday, marks another major blow to Hezbollah’s military infrastructure as Israel continues to dismantle the terror group’s command hierarchy along the Lebanese front.  

According to the IDF, the operation was guided by real-time intelligence that pinpointed the movement of Hadid and another Hezbollah operative responsible for coordinating attacks on northern Israeli communities. The airstrike successfully neutralized both targets, with secondary explosions indicating the destruction of weapons and communication equipment.  

Muhammad Ali Hadid, long regarded as one of Hezbollah’s most experienced field commanders, played a central role in organizing Radwan Force operations along the Israel-Lebanon border — including infiltration attempts and rocket launches targeting civilian areas in Galilee. His elimination is expected to disrupt Hezbollah’s coordination in the sector and further weaken its frontline capabilities.  

Lebanese media outlets confirmed explosions near Nabatiyeh late Tuesday but did not immediately report casualties. Hezbollah has not officially acknowledged the strike, though local sources linked the attack to Israel’s ongoing campaign against its senior leadership.  

Israeli officials reaffirmed that the IDF will continue to act decisively against any threat emanating from Lebanon, emphasizing that Hezbollah’s use of southern Lebanese towns as launch zones and command posts endangers both Israeli and Lebanese civilians. “We will not allow Iran’s proxy army to entrench itself on our northern border,” an IDF spokesperson said.
