Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of escalating military preparations instead of pursuing a peace deal.

In a video message posted on X, Zelensky referenced a recent intelligence report indicating that the Kremlin has no plans for a ceasefire. Instead, he said, the evidence points to further mobilization and expanded military operations.

“These actions clearly show that Putin is preparing for more war, not ending it,” Zelensky stated, warning allies that Ukraine must remain vigilant and united in its defense.

The remarks come as the war enters another tense phase, with ongoing battles along multiple fronts and mounting casualties on both sides. International leaders have repeatedly urged Moscow to engage in negotiations, but diplomatic progress remains elusive.

Western officials have echoed Zelensky’s concerns, noting recent Russian troop movements and intensified weapons production as signs of prolonged conflict.
