IDF Eliminates Hamas Nukhba Commander Behind October 7 Kissufim Attack
The Israel Defense Forces have eliminated Muhannad Asaad Mahmoud Abu Ghazal, a Hamas Nukhba cell commander who took part in the October 7 massacre. Abu Ghazal was among the terrorists who breached the Kissufim area that day, contributing to the slaughter and chaos that left hundreds of Israelis dead and many more wounded or taken hostage. He was killed in a precise strike in central Gaza this week, marking another successful operation against those directly responsible for the atrocities. The targeted action removes a key operational figure who had remained a threat long after the initial invasion.
In a separate strike carried out in northern Gaza, Israeli forces also killed Raed Hani Muhammad Amsi, an aerial surveillance operative for Hamas. The same operation eliminated Nabhan Muhammad Nabhan Amsi, a department head in the military intelligence of Hamas’ Gaza Brigade. Both men held specialized roles that supported Hamas’ military capabilities and surveillance efforts against Israeli targets. Their removal further degrades the terrorist group’s ability to plan and coordinate attacks from within the Gaza Strip.
These successive strikes demonstrate the IDF’s continued determination to hunt down every Hamas operative involved in the October 7 massacre and those who sustain the organization’s war machine. By systematically eliminating commanders, intelligence officers, and specialized fighters, Israel is steadily dismantling the network that launched the deadliest assault on the Jewish state in decades. The operations underscore that there will be no safe haven for those who participated in or enabled the atrocities of that day.
