Australian police conducted a high-risk operation at the Sydney home of terror suspect Naveed Akram following the deadly attack at Bondi Beach, footage released by authorities shows.

Video from the scene captures armed officers arriving at the residence and ordering family members to raise their hands and slowly move toward police. The operation was carried out as part of the broader investigation into the December 14 terror attack that targeted a Hanukkah celebration and left multiple people dead and dozens injured.

Authorities identified Naveed Akram, 24, as one of the attackers involved in the assault. Police confirmed that one suspect was killed at the scene of the attack, while investigations into possible accomplices and support networks remain ongoing. Officials have not indicated that family members were involved in the planning or execution of the attack.

Law enforcement sources said the raid was conducted to secure evidence, assess potential threats, and determine whether additional individuals may have been connected to the operation. The residence was cleared without incident.

Australian security agencies are continuing to examine Akram’s background, including any prior interactions with intelligence services, as part of a wider review of how the attack was planned and carried out. The investigation remains active as authorities work to establish the full scope of the terror plot and prevent any further threats to the public.
