A driver was cited for reckless driving after causing another vehicle to crash into the Kalamazoo County Administration Building on February 21, 2026. Security footage shows a dark SUV turning onto East Avenue without yielding, clipping an oncoming silver sedan. The sedan then accelerated uncontrollably into the building’s lobby, shattering glass and causing internal damage. Fortunately, the building was unoccupied at the time, and only minor scrapes were reported among the vehicle occupants.
