The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed it has eliminated a Hezbollah operative responsible for rebuilding the group’s military infrastructure in the southern Lebanese town of Kharbat Salim.

According to the IDF, the targeted strike neutralized an individual actively working to reestablish Hezbollah’s operational presence in the area. In a separate overnight mission, Israeli troops also dismantled a Hezbollah structure in Yaroun, which the military said posed an immediate threat to Israeli forces and nearby communities.

The actions come amid continued cross-border tensions between Israel and Hezbollah, as skirmishes along the Israel–Lebanon border persist. The IDF reaffirmed that it would continue to act against any attempts by Hezbollah to strengthen its foothold near the frontier.
