“Inflation was SO BAD under Biden... he took over my economy, where inflation was at 1%, which is perfect. He drove it 9 or 10 times higher than that in a short period of time. When I took over, it was a mess. I have inflation way down,” Trump stated. His words underscore a recurring theme of his presidency and campaign: that America thrived under his leadership — and suffered under Biden’s.

Trump’s comments come as new economic data confirms what millions of families already know firsthand — prices skyrocketed under Biden’s administration, straining household budgets and erasing wage gains from the Trump era.
