YouTuber Benn Jordan, known online as Vsauce2, has revealed serious security vulnerabilities in Flock Safety’s surveillance cameras. In a December 2025 video, Jordan, with support from investigative journalists, demonstrated that unsecured admin interfaces allowed public access to live and archived feeds for up to 31 days across dozens of U.S. locations. Flock Safety, which operates more than 90,000 AI-powered cameras for neighborhood and law enforcement monitoring, was found to have nearly 70 exposed devices.
