אמעריקאנער נאטא אמבאסאדאר: פוטין האט מורא פון אמעריקאנע מיליטער
BRUSSELS — As President Trump’s deadline on Russia draws near, U.S. Ambassador to NATO Matthew Whitaker weighed in on the Russia-Ukraine war during an appearance on Sunday Agenda.
“It’s impossible to get into the mind of Vladimir Putin — it’s sick, twisted and probably not logical,” Whitaker said.
He added that despite the Kremlin's erratic aggression, Putin may be hesitating due to one overwhelming factor:
“I guess he doesn’t want to take on the most powerful military in the world — the United States.”
The ambassador’s remarks come as NATO allies await Trump’s next move on Ukraine, with military posturing and diplomatic urgency intensifying across Europe.
