Washington, D.C. — President Donald Trump took fresh aim at several of America's most prominent late-night TV personalities on Wednesday, mocking their talent and ratings in a blunt on-the-record remark that reignited his long-running feud with the entertainment industry.

“Colbert has no talent,” Trump said. “I mean, I could take anybody here, I could go outside on the beautiful streets and pick up a couple of people that’d do just as well or better. They’d get higher ratings. He’s got no talent. Fallon has no talent. Kimmel has no talent.”

The president made the statement while speaking informally to reporters during a White House gathering, drawing laughter and gasps from aides and attendees nearby.
