CARLSBAD, CA — Jetson has officially delivered its first Jetson ONE personal aircraft, marking a historic milestone in the company’s mission to bring flying vehicles to the consumer market.
The delivery took place at a facility in Carlsbad, California, where Jetson Founder and CTO Tomasz Patan and CEO Stephan D’haene personally oversaw the unboxing and pre-flight checks.
The first client to receive the aircraft was Palmer Luckey, tech entrepreneur and avid aviator. After completing ground training in under 50 minutes, Luckey successfully piloted the Jetson ONE for a series of low-altitude flights — a record that Jetson attributes to his deep understanding of advanced technology.
“This milestone marks the beginning of Jetson’s global rollout and a bold leap forward in personal aviation,” the company said in a statement.
The Jetson ONE, an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, is designed as a recreational personal flyer and has been drawing global attention as a potential gateway to accessible urban air mobility.
