The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced a series of large-scale counterterror operations across Judea and Samaria that resulted in the elimination of three terrorists, the arrest of more than 60 wanted suspects, and the seizure of multiple explosive devices and weapons.
According to the IDF, troops carried out coordinated overnight raids in several hotspots, including Hebron, Qalqilya, and the town of Samu’. In Hebron and Qalqilya, forces confiscated an M16 rifle, two Airsoft pistols, and a cache of ammunition. Additionally, six explosive devices intended for imminent attacks were seized before they could be deployed.
During operations in Samu’, Israeli forces uncovered a clandestine weapons workshop used to manufacture firearms and other deadly materials. Several individuals connected to the site were detained, and the facility was dismantled to prevent future terrorist activity. In total, more than ten separate raids were conducted throughout the night, targeting cells linked to ongoing attacks against Israeli civilians and security personnel.
The IDF reported that all objectives were achieved without Israeli casualties. “Our forces acted with precision and determination to dismantle terrorist networks and remove immediate threats to Israeli citizens,” an army spokesperson said. “These operations are part of our continuous effort to maintain security and stability throughout Judea and Samaria.”
Security sources emphasized that the raids were based on detailed intelligence collected over recent weeks, revealing plans by terrorist operatives to launch attacks on Israeli communities and military checkpoints. The swift response by the IDF is being hailed as another successful example of Israel’s proactive counterterror doctrine—neutralizing threats before they can materialize.
The seized explosives and weapons have been transferred for forensic analysis as part of the ongoing investigation. All detained suspects are currently being interrogated by Israeli security forces.
The IDF reiterated its commitment to continue operations wherever terror networks attempt to regroup or rearm. “We will not allow Judea and Samaria to become a safe haven for terrorists,” the statement concluded. “Every threat against Israel will be met with strength, speed, and accuracy.”
The operation underscores Israel’s resolve to maintain security amid rising regional tensions and repeated attempts by terror groups to destabilize the area.
