The Israel Defense Forces released official footage showing preparations to demolish the Hebron home of Mahmoud Yusef Abed, a Palestinian terrorist affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad who participated in the July 10, 2025 shooting attack at Gush Etzion Junction that killed 22-year-old Israeli civilian Shalev Zevuloni. The footage documents IDF engineering units drilling into the structure and positioning explosives as part of Israel’s long-standing counterterrorism deterrence policy.
Abed was killed by Israeli security forces shortly after the attack, alongside accomplice Malek Ibrahim Salem. Salem’s home was demolished in December 2025, following the same operational and legal procedures.
