Dramatic new footage has emerged showing a 1946 Republic RC-3 Seabee seaplane making a successful emergency landing on 7th Street in Phoenix, Arizona last month. The retired pilot, Mike Tragarz, with 40 years of flying experience, executed a precise gear-up belly landing after the aircraft suffered engine failure shortly after takeoff from Laveen.
