The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that it has carried out dozens of strikes on terror-related targets across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, intensifying its military operations against Hamas and affiliated militant groups.
According to the IDF, the strikes targeted Hamas operatives, weapons depots, tunnel networks, and buildings used by terror groups. Newly released footage highlights a precision strike on a Hamas weapons site in Khan Younis, directed by the IDF’s 36th Division.
In tandem, the 98th Division has launched expanded operations in Gaza City, specifically in the Shejaiya and Zeitoun neighborhoods, which have long been considered Hamas strongholds. The goal, according to military officials, is to dismantle the group’s entrenched infrastructure and halt ongoing rocket attacks targeting Israeli territory.
“These operations are part of a broader effort to restore security and degrade Hamas’ ability to wage war,” an IDF spokesperson stated, emphasizing the continued need to neutralize threats buried deep within urban areas.
Residents in affected zones have reported intense aerial activity and ground maneuvers, with humanitarian groups raising concerns about civilian safety amid the escalation.
