The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have released new footage showcasing the 401st Armored Brigade carrying out operations to demolish Hamas infrastructure and tunnel networks in northern Gaza.

According to the IDF, the targeted areas included Kafr Jabalia as well as the Daraj and Tuffah neighborhoods in Gaza City — locations identified as key operational zones for Hamas militants. The video shows tanks and heavy machinery dismantling fortified positions and exposing underground passages believed to be used for storing weapons and facilitating movement.

Military officials stated that these operations are part of ongoing efforts to neutralize Hamas’s combat capabilities and disrupt its logistical routes. The IDF claims the destruction of these tunnels will significantly reduce the group’s ability to carry out attacks.

The developments come amid heightened tensions and continued fighting in the region, with both sides reporting casualties. Humanitarian agencies have expressed concern about the impact of the operations on civilians in densely populated urban areas.
