In a dramatic series of crimes across Los Angeles, armed carjackers stole four vehicles in a single spree.
The suspects began with a Ford F-150 in Lancaster, then hijacked a tanker truck — driving it on the wrong side of the 5 Freeway — before abandoning it downtown. They switched to another pickup, then a black sedan in Lincoln Heights, managing to evade police at every turn. No arrests have been made.
