Tens of thousands of Israelis gathered in Tel Aviv over the weekend to protest Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s plan to fully occupy the Gaza Strip—a move even senior IDF commanders reportedly oppose.

Despite the backlash, Netanyahu doubled down during a press conference, dismissing what he called “fake” images of starving children in Gaza and announcing that more journalists would be allowed into the territory, but only under strict IDF supervision.

Hours later, Israel confirmed it had killed five Al Jazeera journalists in Gaza City, claiming that one of them, Anas al-Sharif, was a terrorist.

The developments come as Australia joined the UK, France, and Canada in pledging to recognize a Palestinian state within weeks.

US Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee and Gaza Humanitarian Foundation spokesman Chapin Fay joined Piers Morgan to discuss the escalating crisis.
