NEW YORK — Mayor Eric Adams has made it clear he has no plans to leave the New York City mayoral race, despite speculation that he has been approached about a role in the Trump administration.

Speaking firmly, Adams dismissed any rumors of withdrawal and doubled down on his commitment to seek reelection. He also took a swipe at former Governor Andrew Cuomo, calling him “a snake and a liar.”

“I am in this race, and I’m the only one who can beat Zohran Mamdani,” Adams declared, underscoring his determination to stay in the fight.

Adams’ remarks come at a time when New York’s political scene is heating up, with Mamdani emerging as a strong challenger and the city’s future leadership at stake.
