U.S. President Donald Trump announced Friday that a U.S. strike in international waters killed three narcoterrorists aboard a vessel trafficking drugs bound for the United States.
According to Trump, the operation was carried out by American forces monitoring maritime drug routes used by transnational cartels. The targeted vessel was intercepted before reaching U.S. shores, preventing what officials described as a “significant shipment” of narcotics from entering the country.
While further details about the strike and the identities of those killed have not yet been released, U.S. defense officials emphasized that the action demonstrates Washington’s commitment to disrupting narcoterrorist networks operating across the seas.
Trump praised the success of the mission, framing it as part of his administration’s ongoing effort to secure U.S. borders and dismantle international drug trafficking operations.
