The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) conducted precision drone strikes on November 22, 2025, successfully eliminating two Hezbollah operatives involved in local militant activity in Lebanon. The operations, targeting Maifadoun and Houla, underscore Israel’s continued commitment to preemptively neutralizing threats to national security and safeguarding civilians in the region.  

The first strike in Maifadoun eliminated Kamel Reza Qarnabash, a key figure in rebuilding Hezbollah’s infrastructure following prior counterterrorism efforts. The second strike in Houla targeted another operative responsible for land seizures and logistics critical to Hezbollah operations.
