The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced it will intensify operations in Gaza City as part of preparations for the next phase of its offensive against Hamas.
According to military officials, the IDF has already struck 360 targets, focusing on key Hamas strongholds. These included tunnels, weapons depots, and high-rise command centers in the neighborhoods of Daraj, Tuffah, and Sheikh Radwan.
The strikes are aimed at weakening Hamas’s military infrastructure and limiting its ability to coordinate attacks. The IDF emphasized that its operations are designed to dismantle command networks and reduce the threat to Israeli security forces ahead of further advances.
The announcement marks an escalation in Israel’s campaign, signaling that heavier operations in Gaza City are imminent as the conflict continues to intensify.
