The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that its air force has struck approximately 140 targets across the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, as ground troops continue their advance on Gaza City.
According to military officials, three IDF divisions are spearheading the offensive. The Golani Brigade reportedly eliminated a Hamas cell armed with rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) in a precision drone strike.
Meanwhile, the 98th Division has intensified its operations, tightening its hold on Gaza City. In the south, the Gaza Division engaged additional Hamas militants, destroyed weapons caches, and dismantled sections of the group’s infrastructure.
The strikes form part of a broader Israeli campaign aimed at weakening Hamas’ military capabilities and limiting its ability to launch further attacks. While Israel highlights the precision of its operations, international observers continue to voice concern over the mounting humanitarian toll in Gaza.
