Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reaffirmed his firm stance on Gaza, declaring that taking full control of the Strip is a necessary condition to end the ongoing war against Hamas.

Speaking with conviction, Netanyahu reminded both domestic and international audiences that he had kept his longstanding promise: preventing the establishment of a Palestinian state, even under intense pressure from successive U.S. administrations.

“I did not allow the creation of a Palestinian state,” Netanyahu said. “Despite heavy pressure both at home and from American presidents, I remained steadfast. Israel’s security and survival will never be compromised.”

The Prime Minister emphasized that Gaza cannot return to Hamas rule and that Israel must retain authority in the area to guarantee peace and stability. Supporters of the move argue that only decisive Israeli control can prevent Gaza from being used again as a base for terrorism against Israeli civilians.

Netanyahu’s statement underscores Israel’s broader war aim: not simply to defeat Hamas militarily, but to reshape the strategic reality in Gaza so that future generations of Israelis can live without constant rocket fire and threats of invasion.

As international calls for compromise grow louder, Netanyahu has doubled down, making it clear that Israel’s red lines remain non-negotiable: no Hamas, no Palestinian state, and no retreat from ensuring the long-term security of the Jewish people.
