Historic $2 Million Donation Pledged for New Satmar 'Kiryas Hayeshivos' in Blooming Grove

The Satmar community is celebrating a monumental milestone following a massive $2,000,000 donation toward the construction of the new "Kiryas Hayeshivos" campus in the Blooming Grove neighborhood of Kiryas Joel. The historic pledge was finalized at a special Maamad Chasimas Shtaros led by the Satmar Rebbe Shlit"a.

The generous philanthropic pledge was made by prominent builders and supporters of the Satmar Kehillah: Reb Bentzion Yehuda Landau, a member of the Satmar Mosdos board in Williamsburg, along with his sons Reb Moshe Aharon and Reb Yosef Yozfa, and their partner Reb Levi Yitzchok Schwartz.

These esteemed negidim have long been recognized for their extraordinary dedication to the Rebbe Shlit"a and their massive undertakings on behalf of the Kehillah. They have consistently stepped forward to support the expansion of the Mosdos, the Vaad Hakashrus, and the ongoing development of Kiryas Joel.

During the momentous event, the donors signed a shtar kinyan for the staggering sum of $2 million, acquiring the zechus of Bonei Habinyanim for the new yeshiva campus. The funds will be divided, with $1 million dedicated to the construction of the first massive building, "Binyan Yoel," and another $1 million allocated for the second building.

These magnificent new structures will serve as the "Migdal Hayeshivos" for the Satmar Yeshiva Ketana Torah V'Yirah, providing a spacious and beautiful makom Torah where hundreds of talmidim will be able to grow in Torah and yiras Shamayim.

The maamad was attended by dedicated members of the Migdal Hayeshivos board and the Keren Habinyan Boinayich committee, who are spearheading the massive construction project. They were joined by members of the Kehillah and Mosdos boards, as well as leaders of Keren Habinyan L'Hokim, who are working tirelessly to expand the Torah infrastructure for the rapidly growing community.

At the culmination of the uplifting event, the Satmar Rebbe Shlit"a warmly blessed the Landau family, led by the patriarch Reb Bentzion Yehuda and his son Reb Yosef Yozfa, who has been instrumental in these monumental endeavors. The Rebbe bestowed his brachos that they should continue to see boundless success and nachas in the eternal zechus of their historic partnership in building Torah.
