Hundreds of families received extensive food packages ahead of the Tishrei Yomim Tovim as part of a major distribution organized by Chaim B’Kavod in Bnei Brak.

The distribution provided families with food and other necessities for the upcoming Yomim Tovim, with organizers seeking to ensure that families facing financial difficulty can enter the festive season with dignity and adequate provisions.

The operation was led by chairman Rabbi Chaim Yisrael Erblich and CEO Rabbi Shimon Brams, following extensive preparations for the large-scale distribution. The organization said its approach is intended to provide families with more than basic assistance, enabling them to celebrate the Yomim Tovim b’kavod.

During the distribution, HaRav Shmuel Eliezer Stern and HaRav Chaim Yosef Biderman of Lelov, presidents of the organization, toured the facility and viewed the extensive preparations and supplies being provided to families. They offered brachos to the donors and partners supporting the initiative.

Bnei Brak Mayor Chanoch Zeibert also visited the distribution together with his assistant Yossi Tzimet and received an overview of the organization's activities.

In addition to the main Tishrei distribution, Chaim B’Kavod provided food packages to dozens of single-parent families through its MiLev LeLev division in cooperation with a forum of community tzedakah funds. Its Katef LaYeled division provides ongoing assistance and support to children and families throughout the year.

The large distribution represents one of the organization's major annual efforts as preparations intensify across Jewish communities ahead of the Yomim Noraim and the Tishrei Yomim Tovim.
