A yungerman’s tefillin were stolen Sunday afternoon from the Harishonim shul on Rechov Rabbi Akiva in Bnei Brak.

The yungerman had stepped out briefly, leaving his tefillin inside. When he returned, they were missing. Security camera footage reportedly shows a suspect entering the shul, taking the tefillin and leaving.

The theft has raised concern among local mispallelim, with shul officials urging people not to leave their tefillin unattended. It remains unclear whether the stolen tefillin have been recovered.
