United Torah Judaism leaders and supporters gathered in Bnei Brak on Tuesday night for celebrations following the release of Israel's Knesset election exit polls, with senior Chareidi representatives declaring that the party had demonstrated its strength despite a challenging election campaign.

The festive gathering brought together prominent United Torah Judaism figures, including MK Yaakov Asher, MK Moshe Gafni, and MK Meir Porush, as supporters celebrated the party's performance and awaited the official election results.

Videos and photographs from the gathering showed party leaders standing together amid a celebratory atmosphere, reflecting relief and optimism following months of political tensions affecting the Chareidi community.

Initial exit polls projected United Torah Judaism would secure between six and seven seats in the 26th Knesset. Channels 11 and 12 projected six seats, while Channel 13 projected seven.

Despite those projections, party officials expressed confidence that the final vote count would demonstrate continued support for United Torah Judaism.

Addressing the gathering, MK Yaakov Asher declared that Torah, Degel HaTorah, and United Torah Judaism had emerged victorious, saying that those who had predicted the party's decline had underestimated the strength of the Chareidi community.

Asher emphasized that the community had remained united despite criticism and political pressure, crediting its continued support for the guidance of Gedolei Yisroel.

He also claimed that preliminary information available to the party indicated an increase of tens of thousands of votes compared with the previous election, although those figures had not yet been confirmed by the official count.

MK Moshe Gafni acknowledged that he had approached election night with considerable concern over the political atmosphere and criticism directed at Torah learners and Chareidi educational institutions.

Gafni said the emerging results had eased his concerns, expressing satisfaction that the party had maintained significant support among its voters.

MK Meir Porush also addressed supporters, describing the election campaign as particularly difficult and emphasizing the responsibility of United Torah Judaism representatives to protect the interests of the Chareidi community.

Porush said the party's representatives would need to act carefully and responsibly in addressing challenges facing Torah learners and Chareidi families.

The gathering came amid continuing controversy over military enlistment requirements for yeshiva bochurim and broader disagreements between Chareidi political representatives and Israeli authorities.

Asher made clear that United Torah Judaism would not begin political negotiations or discuss possible coalition arrangements until the final official election results were published.

The celebrations highlighted the party leadership's determination to present a united front as vote counting continued, with its eventual Knesset representation and future political role still awaiting confirmation.
