A large crowd of Viznitz-Monsey chassidim gathered in Meron on Motzaei Shabbos for a hadlakah led by HaGaon HaTzaddik Rav Elimelech Biderman shlit”a, during the Viznitz-Monsey Rebbe’s major nesiah to Eretz Yisroel.

The gathering was part of a weeklong trip bringing thousands of chassidim and talmidim from the United States to Eretz Yisroel together with the Viznitz-Monsey Rebbe shlit”a. Ahead of the trip, organizers said its schedule would include tefillah, learning, visits to mekomos hakedoshim and kivrei tzaddikim, and gatherings with leading Admorim and Rabbanim.

Meron was planned as one of the central points of the nesiah, with the Rebbe and the visiting chassidim spending Shabbos there. The Motzaei Shabbos program included divrei chizuk and a hadlakah led by Rav Biderman accompanied by music and dancing.

Footage published following Shabbos shows Rav Biderman at the center of the packed gathering as the crowd sings and dances. Contemporary Haredi media also reported that Rav Biderman joined the Viznitz-Monsey Melaveh Malkah in Meron, while ABL News published video of the Motzaei Shabbos hadlakah.

Hundreds of yeshiva bochurim participating in the broader nesiah had earned places on the trip through the “Torasi” seder halimud after completing bechinos on the masechtos they had been learning.
