Internal discussions are reportedly underway within Shas over possible successors to longtime chairman Aryeh Deri following the party's disappointing election results.

According to Israeli media reports, Michael Malchieli, Chaim Biton, and Ariel Atias are among the names being considered for the party's leadership.

However, Deri has not announced his resignation, and no official decision regarding his replacement has been made.
