TETERBORO / WASHINGTON — A private flight carrying senior Admorim to Washington, D.C., was delayed at Teterboro Airport Thursday morning due to an air-traffic issue near Newark, delaying the delegation's journey to a scheduled meeting with President Donald Trump at the White House.

The flight, carrying the Satmar Rebbe (מהר״יי), the Bobover Rebbe and the Vizhnitzer Rebbe of Monsey, was held at Teterboro before subsequently departing for Washington.

According to information reported from Washington, the meeting with President Trump was not expected to begin until approximately 2:00 PM following the travel delay.

The Admorim are traveling to Washington as part of the rabbinical delegation scheduled to meet with the president ahead of Rosh Hashanah.
