U.S. Central Command released new footage Saturday revealing the scale and precision of a major joint military operation carried out with Jordanian forces against Islamic State targets in Syria. The operation, known as Hawkeye Strike, delivered a decisive blow to ISIS infrastructure across central and northern regions of the country.

The coordinated assault employed more than 100 precision-guided munitions launched from both aircraft and ground-based systems. According to CENTCOM, over 70 ISIS sites were destroyed during the operation, significantly degrading the terrorist organization’s operational capacity. Infrared strike footage released alongside the announcement shows multiple confirmed hits on desert-based targets, underscoring the accuracy and coordination of the mission.

Hawkeye Strike was conducted in direct retaliation for a December 13 ISIS ambush that killed two U.S. service members and a civilian interpreter. Military officials confirmed that at least five ISIS operatives were eliminated in the strikes, including a key drone cell leader responsible for planning and surveillance operations against coalition forces.

Importantly, CENTCOM reported no civilian casualties, highlighting the disciplined execution of the mission and the continued emphasis on precision warfare. The joint nature of the operation also reinforced the strength of U.S. regional partnerships, particularly with Jordan, in confronting shared security threats.

The successful strikes send a clear message that attacks on American personnel will be met with overwhelming force. Under sustained pressure from U.S. and allied forces, ISIS continues to lose territory, leadership, and operational freedom. Hawkeye Strike stands as a firm reminder that the United States remains fully committed to dismantling terrorist networks and defending its forces and allies wherever threats emerge.
